“The EV ecosystem is poised for rapid growth in India, and I look forward to driving this transformation, along with new initiatives that will make electric mobility more accessible and sustainable for Indian consumers.” Pragya Goyal, Head of Growth and New Initiatives, ElectricPe

ElectricPe, India’s most trusted EV super-app, has appointed Pragya Goyal as Head of Growth and New Initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and seamless. In her new role, she will spearhead ElectricPe’s expansion strategy, targeting 50 new mobility centres across 24 cities, further strengthening the company’s nationwide presence.
Pragya brings a wealth of experience in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. In her role as Co-Founder & CEO at Vegh Automobiles, she built the company from scratch, launched EV two-wheeler products across consumer segments, and scaled to 100+ dealerships across the country, driving accessibility and innovation in the space. Prior to this, she was instrumental in developing ‘Service Mandi’, a pioneering digital platform for commercial vehicle services at Ashok Leyland.
Commenting on the appointment, Avinash Sharma, Founder and CEO, ElectricPe, said: “We have successfully tested and scaled our full-stack EV model in Karnataka, achieving product-market fit. We are thrilled to have Pragya join us during this time of our rapid expansion across India, with 50 new mobility centres launching in the next four months.”
Pragya Goyal, Head of Growth and New Initiatives, ElectricPe, shared, “The EV ecosystem is poised for rapid growth in India, and I look forward to driving this transformation, along with new initiatives that will make electric mobility more accessible and sustainable for Indian consumers. By having more touchpoints across India via the mobility stores, we can continue to build trust among consumers and makes EV ownership simple.”
ElectricPe is redefining the electric two-wheeler landscape in India by bridging critical gaps in EV adoption through its full-stack platform. Since its inception in 2021, the company has tackled the biggest barriers to EV adoption—helping consumers select the right EV, access financing, set up reliable charging infrastructure, access batteries on subscription, and ensure seamless after-sales service.
One of the biggest challenges for EV adoption is lack of reliable information and access to suitable vehicles. In December 2023, the company expanded its services to include mobility centres—both online via the ElectricPe App and website and through physical stores. These centres allow customers to compare and choose from a range of electric two-wheeler options while facilitating financing options to make ownership more accessible. Post-purchase, the company ensures guaranteed after-sales service, eliminating concerns around vehicle maintenance and servicing.
Charging accessibility remains a key challenge, and ElectricPe is solving this by deploying a widespread network of charging points across key urban and semi-urban locations. In July 2024, ElectricPe partnered with Google to integrate real-time EV charging point availability into Google Maps, enhancing journey planning and reducing range anxiety for EV users across India.
The company offers flexible subscription plans to further ease consumer concerns around battery ownership, reducing upfront costs while ensuring reliable battery replacement and maintenance. By integrating these essential services under one unified platform, ElectricPe is accelerating India’s shift towards practical, cost-effective, and consumer-friendly electric mobility. With Pragya’s leadership, the company is set to scale its presence across India, making electric two-wheelers the preferred choice for Indian consumers.
